• Non-kicking foot planted around six inches from the ball • Leg slightly bent, with arms out for balance, and eyes focused on the ball • Shoulder above the ball, with hips square to the target • Ankle locked with toes pointed outwards and slightly up • Central contact with the ball, using the flat inside of the foot
