Receiving Ball - Airborne
Content Description
● The leg is extended forward and raised, around the height of the shin. ● The toe is pointed and ankle locked, in preparation for the bottom of the ball to meet the laces. ● As contact is initiated, the leg is swiftly withdrawn, absorbing the momentum of the ball to avoid any sort of bounce. ● Depending on the height and trajectory of the airborne ball, players may find it easier to receive the ball on the thigh or chest. ● The most important element in all of these exercises is vision.
