In this short video I show you a few of my tried and tested methods of helping youth athletes get get faster and move with more control! Improving the ability to accelerate helps you create separation from opponents. And being able to decelerate quickly also improves your 'exit speed' or change of direction. And these drills are a key part of injury prevention as most non-contact knee injuries occur when we are trying to slow down and out on the brakes. In this video, I show you some key foundational drills to try after your skills work. Make sure you do these drills while you are fresh and 2-3 times per week is enough to see a huge difference!
