Receiving Ball

• Stand directly in the path of the ball • Never lose sight of the incoming ball • Extend one leg forward to meet the ball, with the foot turned out and ankle locked • Lightly touch the ball ahead of the body in the next direction of travel • Anticipate the ball, study the pace and direction, and adjust your stance accordingly
